DeKalb County School District is seeking an experienced and professional Technician II, Mechanical Control. The role involves advising building administrators on maintenance needs, managing custodial operations, and providing guidance to custodial teams to ensure a clean and safe environment.

Primary/Secondary Education

Responsibilities

Completes routine and sometimes more robust tasks as assigned in a timely manner

Ensures effective communication across schools and buildings to monitor their functionality and manages the school's operational systems

Manages inventory of printer consumables, reloading supplies as needed to maintain uninterrupted availability

Accesses and manages the school's Local Area Network (LAN) to ensure consistent connectivity and performance

Adjusts heating and cooling systems within the school premises to maintain a comfortable environment for students, staff, and visitors

Follows established standard operating procedures and systems to accomplish tasks

Performs additional duties as assigned
