Responsibilities

Execute installation, wiring, and checkout of BAS controllers, sensors, and network devices
Assist the Team Leader in developing and following project installation plans and schedules
Support commissioning, programming, and graphics deployment for BAS projects
Perform point-to-point verification, calibration, and functional testing of control sequences
Troubleshoot communication networks (BACnet, Modbus, IP) and resolve technical issues
Maintain accurate field documentation, redlines, and as-built information
Provide timely feedback and field updates to the Team Leader regarding progress, issues, and material needs
Participate in project meetings and jobsite coordination with other trades
Ensure adherence to NSC safety policies and quality standards
Maintain organized tools, vehicles, and work areas
Assist with customer training and system turnover
Support service and warranty calls on completed installations
Stay current with Delta Controls, 75F, and other NSC product line training and certification
Mentor Level I Technicians and assist with onboarding new field staff
Engage in continuous improvement activities and contribute to best-practice development

Required

3–5 years of experience in building automation, HVAC controls, or related technical field
Associate's degree in HVAC, electrical technology, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
Proficiency in reading control drawings, wiring diagrams, and mechanical plans
Familiarity with control networks (BACnet/IP, MSTP, Modbus, etc.)
Competent computer skills (Microsoft Office, network setup, control front-ends)
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Preferred

Basic programming experience with Delta Controls or Niagara
