The role involves developing and maintaining high-quality software using Python and leveraging Google Cloud Platform services to support data engineering tasks.

Responsibilities

Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education

At least 4 years of Information Technology experience

At least 2 years of development experience in maintaining high-quality software using Python programming language

In-depth understanding of the Python software development stacks, ecosystems, frameworks and tools such as Numpy, Scipy, Pandas, Dask, spaCy, NLTK, sci-kit-learn and PyTorch

Expert-level proficiency in Python 3.x and Python frameworks

Solid knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services: BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Composer, and Dataproc

Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines using custom scripting tools (Python/Java)

Proven ability to refactor and translate legacy logic to Google Cloud Platform

Analytical skills to identify root cause and come up with solutions/alternatives

Ability to work in team environment and client interfacing skills

Participating in project review meetings with the client

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

Experience with Healthcare Industry is preferred
