Responsibilities

Under immediate direction the assignments include working primary project within a specific functional area of supply chain, including Performance & Analytics, Operations & Logistics, and Strategic Sourcing
Assists supply chain management with various special projects, reports, communications, analyses, processes, participate in group meetings, research, administrative processes, and customer service
You will utilize your supply chain knowledge and be challenged to maximize your learning agility as you contribute to the team in developing innovative solutions
(Each department may have specific duties for the job in their area and are responsible for communicating them to the Student Intern)

Required

Minimum cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0
Previous Supply Chain/Operations experience a plus but also consider Finance, Project Management, Business Administration or Information Systems/Analytics experience or a Supply Chain degree program
MUST be available to commute into the UCM Chicago office in a hybrid environment – Hyde Park & Harvey Campus
Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Strategic thinking and problem solving skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills
Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
Ability to grasp/understand technical concepts and applications
