Responsibilities
Responsibilities to include launch/ recovery and decontamination of the BQM-177A and maintenance on aerial target mechanical/electrical systems
Applicants must be able to perform said duties with minimal supervision
Candidate can expect to be trained to participate in functions beyond normal operations
Proper tools and their uses (IE… volt meters, power tools, simple hand tools)
Installs electronic components following predetermined methods and criteria
Adjust, repair and modify system using Naval and industry publications which include maintenance procedures, diagrams, schematics and local Standard Operating Procedures
Remove and or replaces malfunctioning units as directed
Setup and operate standard electronic testing equipment
Qualification
Required
Proper tools and their uses (IE… volt meters, power tools, simple hand tools)
Installs electronic components following predetermined methods and criteria

Remove and or replaces malfunctioning units as directed

Require at least 2 years of experience performing stated functions
Ability to travel 20-30% of the year, from one to six weeks at a time
Ability to obtain and maintain a US Passport and DOD Secret Security Clearance
Possess valid state driver's license, Commercial Driver License is a plus
All candidates will be required to pass random drug testing
High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred
Electronic/Electrical/Mechanical maintenance experience of any kind preferred
Trade school training a plus
Professional certifications/licenses a plus
