Responsibilities
Perform and direct assigned maintenance service requests efficiently with minimal client disruption
Maintain and repair building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and lighting components
Monitor and maintain life safety systems including generators, fire panels, sprinklers, and audio/visual devices
Assist with contractor supervision and monitor their performance on assigned responsibilities
Conduct preventative maintenance routines and respond to emergency repairs during off-hours as needed
Document work performance and materials procurement using established work order systems
Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational training programs
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Valid state driver's license
Minimum of 3 years experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work
Ability to lift minimum of 50 lbs. and use ladders safely
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and Windows-based computers
Good communication skills in English, both oral and written
Completion of all required safety trainings as scheduled
Preferred
Completion of applicable technical training program
Working knowledge of building automation systems and HVAC systems
Experience with life safety systems and fire protection equipment
Mechanical and electrical aptitude
Self-motivated with ability to work independently or in teams
Experience with work order management systems
Previous facility management or building maintenance experience
