Outside Sales Representative - TPI Chicago
Total Plastics, International (TPI) is a leading North American supplier of plastic sheet, film, rod, and tube. The Outside Sales Representative will drive sales growth by engaging with customers and prospects, developing relationships, and generating new customer opportunities in the plastic industry.

Responsibilities
Conduct daily calls and face-to-face meetings with customers and prospects
Ability and willingness to travel for trade shows, product demonstrations, and customer meetings
Develop and maintain relationships with customers
Generate sales growth through new and existing customer opportunities and applications
Calculate customer pricing from material and fabrication costs based on customer specifications
Monitor the industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand a customer’s specific needs
Enter all call notes, quotes, and orders into the operating system (Epicor) with support from the Inside Sales Team
Qualification
Required
2-5 years of plastic industry experience
Ability and willingness to travel for trade shows, product demonstrations, and customer meetings
Passion for a consultative, relationship-based sales role
'Hunter' mentality – results driven, high sense of urgency, & self-motivated
Comfort with CRM & inventory tracking software (Epicor)
Knowledge and experience with plastics, distribution, fabrication, and supply chain
High caliber communication skills
Thrives in a team environment
A strong desire to learn and grow
Socially perceptive and agile to adjust to customer's needs
