The Deskside Field Support Analyst will be responsible for desktop imaging and deployment, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and providing support to ensure smooth operations at the deskside level.

Information Technology

Responsibilities

Participate in imaging and deployment of desktops, laptops and peripherals following deployment documentation and checklists
Test for nominal operation of devices post-deployment
Troubleshooting to identify and resolve root cause of hardware or software malfunctions at the deskside level
Follow documentation and direction as required
Smart Hands for AV, Telephony and Network teams
Provide proper and prompt updates to documentation

Required

A college or university education within Computer Sciences
2 years of experience with desktop deployments, troubleshooting and upgrades
Previous experience completing complex Installs, moves, adds, changes of computer equipment
Windows Operating System proficiency ideally in Windows 10
Ticketing system experience
Effective written and verbal interpersonal skills
Outstanding customer service skills
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Availability for shift work - fly in/fly out to field site position. One week on, one week off
A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Clean D&A test
Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. regularly

Preferred

A+ Certification an asset
Oilsands Safety certification an asset
Willingness to travel to remote sites in Alberta's Oil Sands region
