F-15 Shipside Support Manager

The Boeing Company is seeking an F-15 Shipside Support Manager to join the F-15 Manufacturing Integration team in Berkeley, MO. Responsibilities

Manages employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing disciplines
Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies
Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Manages, develops and motivates employees
Manage activities across multiple functions to resolve emergent operational issues and support implementation of strategies and plans
Manage process assessments against standards, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement
Adapt effectively to changes in work tasks, structures, and culture while encouraging innovative problem-solving and facilitating change acceptance
Plan and organize work by involving stakeholders, anticipating critical events, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion
Apply knowledge of an array of manufacturing and assembly processes, shop safety and quality standards to support operations
Collaborate with various Operations and non-Operations departments to understand inter dependencies and drive effective outcomes
Develop solutions for moderately complex problems by applying established policies, procedures, and best practices
Represent the organization in interactions with internal teams and external customers on specific projects

Required

5+ years of experience working in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment
1+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role
Strong communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills are required to succeed in this position as well as presentation and facilitation skills to work with cross-functional groups in establishing and achieving common goals
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Preferred

Bachelor's degree or higher
1+ years of experience with Boeing systems such as SAT, MESCI, & REDARS
1+ years of experience using lean manufacturing and/or continuous improvement practices and tools
Prior experience in a production or manufacturing environment
Prior LSCC experience
Previous experience on F-15 program
Understanding of One BPS process and principles
