Responsibilities

Lead the design and architecture of scalable data warehouse solutions in Snowflake

Design, build, and optimize complex ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and store data from multiple sources

Architect and implement real-time streaming data pipelines using Kafka

Define and implement data modeling standards and best practices across the organization

Drive technical decisions on data platform tooling, architecture, and infrastructure

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data solutions with business objectives

Implement enterprise-grade data quality frameworks, monitoring, and alerting systems

Architect integrations between Salesforce and centralized data platforms

Mentor junior and mid-level data engineers on best practices and technical skills

Lead data-focused code reviews and technical design discussions

Champion data governance, security, and compliance initiatives

Required

5+ years of experience in data engineering or related data-focused roles

Expert-level proficiency in SQL and advanced relational database design

Extensive experience designing and building ETL/ELT pipelines at scale using tools such as Apache Airflow, dbt, or similar

Strong proficiency in Python for data processing and pipeline development

Deep experience with Snowflake, including performance optimization and best practices

Experience with streaming data platforms, particularly Kafka

Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and ability to design optimal schemas for various use cases

Experience leading technical projects and mentoring engineers

Strong architectural thinking and communication skills

Track record of delivering high-quality, production-grade data solutions

Preferred

Experience with Salesforce data extraction, APIs, and enterprise integration patterns

Experience designing and implementing real-time streaming architectures at scale

Proficiency with BI tools and supporting self-service analytics

Experience with AWS services (S3, Glue, Lambda, Kinesis)

Experience with data governance frameworks and data catalog tools

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code for data platforms

Exposure to machine learning pipelines, feature stores, and MLOps practices

Experience with data mesh or modern data architecture patterns

Interest in AI systems and building data foundations for ML/AI initiatives
