The Senior Public Relations Account Manager will manage multiple client campaigns, focusing on strategy, media outreach, and client communication while operating independently to drive successful PR outcomes.

Responsibilities

Leading onboarding conversations and extracting what matters for media positioning

Building six-month PR strategies that balance timely opportunities with longer-lead placements

Developing relevant, news-aware angles that serve both the client and the outlet

Pitching consistently to podcasts, digital and print publications, and broadcast

Monitor the news, journalist queries, what’s trending, and newsjack our clients into the news cycle

Using and expanding your own media relationships, not relying only on databases

Managing outreach, follow-ups, interviews, and coverage tracking through our systems

Preparing clients for interviews with clear framing and expectations

Preparing monthly progress reports for each client campaign and presenting them to clients and their team via video call

Keeping campaigns organized, proactive, and moving forward

Required

4–6+ years of experience in PR agency environments (or in a newsroom), with direct responsibility for pitching, sourcing, and campaign execution

Secured earned media across top tier podcasts, digital/print, and broadcast

Understand how the news cycle works and know when to move quickly

Strong written and verbal communication skills across a range of platforms (Slack, voice note, email, virtual client or team meetings, virtual presentations)

Strong creative writing skills in developing pitches, bios, PR strategies, angles, etc

Comfortable being the primary point of contact for clients

Strong professional presentation skills

Organized, responsive, and consistent in follow-through

Enjoy working with founder-led, expert-driven brands

Keen eye for detail
