Real Estate Solutions Intern
Virginia Economic Development Partnership is seeking an Intern for their Real Estate Solutions division during the summer of 2026. The role involves conducting research, supporting grant initiatives, and analyzing target sector requirements for real estate.

Responsibilities
Conduct research on strategic sites relating to property readiness such as zoning restrictions and height restrictions
Support grant initiatives for the Virginia Business Ready Sites Program and the Virginia Brownfields Assistance Fund by automating the grant intake process
Conduct analysis on target sector requirements for real estate
Other duties, as needed
Qualification
Required
Interest in real estate development, construction, or engineering
Interest in process management and using systems such as AI to automate processes
Excellent planning, organizational and communication skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective time management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Basic or advanced data analysis experience with Excel and PowerBI
Comfortable using social media platforms and online GIS tools
Preferred
Previous research and data experience
Pursuit of a bachelor's or graduate degree in real estate, economics, engineering, business or related field
