TCEQ - Engineer I-V
Capps Plumbing and Sewer, Inc. is a part of the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), focused on protecting public health and natural resources. They are seeking Engineers I-V for their Water Supply Division to ensure compliance with drinking water regulations through technical and engineering work, reviews, and project participation.

Responsibilities
Complete technical and engineering work related to implementation of state and federal drinking water regulations for the Plan & Technical Review the section in the Water Supply Division
Conduct in office and/or on-site engineering and technical reviews, analyses, quality control and evaluations of routine to moderately complex information from internal and external customers to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures; and follows up with appropriate actions
Provide information and engineering assistance concerning requests and submittals from public water systems to internal and external customers through verbal communication, email, correspondence, meetings, on-site assistance, and presentations
Participate in special projects, such as serving as an owner of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and working on Section/Division business process improvement projects
Qualification
Required
Texas Professional Engineer's license
Texas Professional Engineer's license plus one year of full-time engineering experience beyond licensure
Qualifying work experience includes that obtained post licensure as an engineering graduate student or teacher
One year of full-time experience at TCEQ as an Engineer I
Texas Professional Engineer's license plus two years of full-time engineering experience beyond licensure
One year of full-time experience at TCEQ as an Engineer II
Texas Professional Engineer's license plus three years of full-time engineering experience beyond licensure
One year of full-time experience at TCEQ as an Engineer III
Texas Professional Engineer's license plus four years of full-time engineering experience beyond licensure
One year of full-time experience at TCEQ as an Engineer IV
Ability to maintain the security or integrity of the infrastructure is a requirement to be hired for and to continue to be employed with TCEQ
A copy of your official college transcript or evaluation of foreign credentials in CAPPS is required if needed to meet the qualifications listed above
