Qualification
Required
Experience from a broad-based federal transactional tax practice
Experience with domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, buyouts, joint ventures, and strategic alliances
Experience with private equity and hedge fund transactions
Experience with real estate and REIT taxation
Experience with complex capital markets matters, including structured notes
Experience with bankruptcy and restructuring matters
Experience with structured finance and securitization
Experience with lending and project finance
Experience with start-up and early-stage company transactions
Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills
Ability to exercise sound judgment in fast-paced transactional environments
Active member of the New York or California Bar
