Product Manager

Pinewood.AI is seeking a driven, collaborative, and strategic Product Manager to lead the development of Finance & Insurance, Accounting, CRM, or Fixed Operations functionality within their automotive dealer management platform. This role focuses on building smart, integrated solutions to enhance profitability, compliance, and customer experience for dealerships.

Responsibilities

Own and develop the product vision and roadmap for features, aligned to business and customer goals
Work with PDMs and developers to define, refine, and prioritise deliverables using clear user stories and acceptance criteria
Collaborate with Account Management and Partner Support teams to gather feedback, understand dealer needs, and resolve product issues
Sign off on new functionality and ensure high-quality releases with clear business value
Prepare product documentation and release notes to support training, adoption, and promotion of features
Be a point of contact for partner and manufacturer meetings, helping gather market insights and agree on deliverable solutions
Support the ongoing development and mentoring of Project Delivery Managers in line with personal and team growth goals
Engage with technical teams to provide context and direction on functionality, ensuring delivery meets requirements and is technically feasible
Maintain a prioritised feature backlog and ensure consistent documentation across the product lifecycle
Act as an internal champion for your product, communicating updates and value to stakeholders across the business

Required

Experience in product management, particularly in Finance & Insurance (F&I), Accounting, CRM or Fixed Operations within the automotive industry
Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams including Project Delivery Managers, developers, and commercial teams
Ability to translate dealer needs and market opportunities into impactful software features
Experience in defining, refining, and prioritising deliverables using clear user stories and acceptance criteria
Strong attention to detail and commercial insight
Experience in preparing product documentation and release notes
Ability to engage with technical teams to provide context and direction on functionality
Experience in maintaining a prioritised feature backlog and ensuring consistent documentation across the product lifecycle

Preferred

Experience working with automotive dealer management platforms
Experience in mentoring or supporting the development of Project Delivery Managers
