Responsibilities

Lead the design and maturation of tango’s core business capabilities to support scalable growth and operational consistency
Build processes that improve how business requirements are defined, prioritized, and incorporated into delivery roadmaps
Develop operating models that enhance cross-functional accountability, transparency, and execution efficiency
Establish frameworks for monitoring performance and operational KPIs to provide visibility into leading indicators and organizational health
Partner with Analytics, Operations, Clinical, and Network teams to define and evolve KPIs that support decision-making and continuous improvement
Translate performance insights into actionable business responses to ensure timely intervention and escalation
Lead special projects involving operational redesign, technology enablement, market expansion, or regulatory preparedness
Advance provider contracting tools, contract management workflows, and next-generation value-based contracting capabilities—including improved data capture, lifecycle visibility, and integration with performance analytics
Support evaluation and piloting of AI-enabled tools across documentation summarization, workflow automation, decision support, and provider-facing workflows
Define tango’s business response to the 2027 Final Rule to drive prior-authorization transparency with providers and plan partners
Conduct research and analysis to develop recommendations, business cases, and implementation plans for senior leadership
Coordinate across Clinical, Operations, Network, Product, Analytics, and IT on initiatives with enterprise-wide impact
Serve as a connective leader across functions—removing barriers, aligning expectations, and clarifying scope, decision pathways, and timelines
Oversee project planning, workstream structure, and milestone tracking for priority initiatives
Improve communication, risk visibility, and cross-functional decision-making

Required

10+ years of experience in business transformation, healthcare operations, strategy, consulting, or large-scale program management
Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives involving Clinical, Operations, Network, Product, and IT
Strong understanding of healthcare delivery, managed care, provider contracting, and value-based payment models
Ability to structure ambiguous problems, develop frameworks, and drive clarity in evolving environments
Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills across all organizational levels
Comfort working with technical teams and understanding workflow, data, and system interactions

Preferred

Experience with workflow automation or AI/ML-supported tools
Background in scaling organizations or standing up new capabilities
Managed care experience related to utilization management, provider contracting, or network operations
Familiarity with contract lifecycle management, provider data quality, or value-based contracting analytics
