Responsibilities
Troubleshot electrical equipment , PLCs, DCS , and other controls
Repairs Pumps , Valves , and other Process Equipment with minimal supervision
Repair electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing , mechanical , and HVAC systems
Repair and maintain equipment and assets safely and efficiently
Daily use of hand and power tools
Collaborate with production and operations teams, possessing knowledge of products and equipment
Be a project team member and lead some small projects or sub-projects of a larger project
Assists with RCAs and other incident investigations
Supports SAP management of spare parts, work orders, and other reports
Supports plant EHS programs, PSM programs, and other initiatives
Follows all plant policies and practices to ensure safety, quality, service, and cost objectives are met
Practice continuous quality improvement in all processes
Fully supports the goal of zero workplace safety incidents and supports and participates in EHS Programs
Work cooperatively with all employees, vendors, and contractors
Assists in maintaining an acceptable level of housekeeping
Qualification
Required
Electrician - Skilled in electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, wiring, motors, panels, and industrial equipment
I&E (Instrumentation & Electrical) - Expertise in both electrical work and instrumentation systems—installing, calibrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting sensors, transmitters, control systems, PLC interfaces, and plant automation equipment
Millwright - Mechanical tradesperson skilled in installing, assembling, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery—such as conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and production equipment
Pipefitting - Skilled in installing, assembling, and maintaining piping systems—reading piping diagrams, cutting, threading, bending, and fitting pipes for steam, water, gas, chemicals, etc
SAP
Basic welding, millwrighting, and blueprint and schematic reading
Knowledgeable of and practices Preventive and Predictive Maintenance
Knowledgeable of and practices root cause analysis
