Responsibilities
Monitor and optimize energy usage within the data center to ensure maximum efficiency
Conduct regular inspections of power systems, cooling systems, and other critical infrastructure
Implement and enforce energy conservation measures and sustainability initiatives
Coordinate with facility teams to maintain uptime and reliability of data center operations
Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations
Analyze energy consumption data and provide reports to management
Respond to energy-related emergencies and troubleshoot issues promptly
Train staff on energy management best practices and safety protocols
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in data center operations or energy management
Strong knowledge of power distribution, HVAC systems, and energy monitoring tools
Familiarity with data center infrastructure management (DCIM) software
Understanding of electrical systems and energy efficiency standards
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred
Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, LEED, or energy management)
bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
