Responsibilities
Work directly with the Sr. Manager Accounts Payable and Joint Interest Billings and others in maintaining the integrity of the accounts payable and joint interest billing systems
Assist with the processing of invoices in the accounts payable system including coding of invoices, assisting with uploading of invoices, statement review, etc
Assist with the monthly preparation of joint interest billings, review of the joint interest billing statements to ensure accuracy and that lease operating expenses and capital expenditures are coded and jibbed correctly
Assist with vendor correspondence related to accounts payable and joint interest billings, reconciliation of accounts payable statements and resolution of issues
Provide support as needed to the Sr. Manager Accounts Payable and Joint Interest Billings and other members of the accounting and finance group team
Assist in maintaining efficient operation of the Company’s accounting system to meet Management’s evolving needs through the continual evaluation of the accounting and management information system

Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent experience
Two years' accounting experience specifically with experience in coding and processing of accounts payable
Knowledge of joint interest billing or job costing accounting systems
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel required
Strong social perceptiveness and effective time management skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet related deadlines
Excellent oral and written communication abilities. Proficient in deductive reasoning and comfortable with public speaking
Ability to work individually or as part of a team
