Genesys Developer :: Newark, NJ - onsite
Exdonuts is seeking a skilled Genesys Developer to design, develop, customize, and support contact center solutions using the Genesys platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in IVR, call routing, integrations, and API-based development to deliver scalable and high-performance customer engagement solutions.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement contact center solutions using Genesys Cloud CX / Genesys Engage / PureConnect
Develop and maintain IVR flows, call routing strategies, and omnichannel interactions (voice, chat, email, messaging)
Configure and customize call flows, queues, skills, and routing logic
Integrate Genesys with CRM systems (Salesforce, Dynamics, ServiceNow, etc.) and third-party applications
Develop and consume REST APIs, web services, and event-driven integrations
Create and maintain Genesys Architect flows, scripts, and workflows
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to call flows, integrations, and performance
Perform unit testing, system testing, and support UAT activities
Monitor and optimize contact center performance and reliability
Prepare technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer
Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, QA, and operations teams
Ensure solutions follow security, compliance, and best practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
3+ years of experience working with Genesys platforms
Strong hands-on experience with Genesys Cloud CX / Engage / PureConnect
IVR and call routing design
Omnichannel configuration
Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages: Java, JavaScript, Python, or .NET
Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and web services
Knowledge of SIP, VoIP, telephony concepts, and call flows
Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Preferred
Genesys certifications (GCX-D, GCP-D, GCA, etc.)
Experience with Genesys Architect, Designer, IRD, Composer
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Experience with workforce engagement, reporting, and analytics
Understanding of contact center KPIs and metrics
Agile/Scrum development experience
