Responsibilities
Build, deploy, and maintain applications and systems that bring advanced AI-driven security capabilities to real users
Work directly with internal and external customers to deeply understand their workflows and translate them into intuitive, powerful product experiences
Design and build efficient and reusable frontend systems that drive complex web applications
Plan and deploy frontend infrastructure necessary to build, test, and deploy our products
Collaborate across OpenAI’s product, research, engineering, and security organizations to maximize impact
Help shape the engineering culture, architecture, and processes of a new business unit with a critical mission
Qualification
Required
3+ years of relevant engineering experience at technology and product-driven companies
Experience building production web applications at scale using TypeScript, React and other web technologies
Familiarity with public cloud environments (Azure or AWS) and infrastructure tooling (Kubernetes, Terraform, etc.)
Are comfortable building complex applications and systems from the ground up, with limited development infrastructure available to you
Are intrinsically driven to learn and fill in missing skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where problems may be ambiguous, emerging, or rapidly evolving
