Responsibilities

Manage daily editorial operations for the Movies or Television vertical

Assign, edit and publish high-quality news, features, lists and evergreen content

Guide writers on tone, structure, SEO best practices, and CBR’s editorial standards

Identify coverage opportunities around breaking news, trends, and audience interests

Help plan short- and long-term content strategies to drive traffic and engagement

Ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to editorial guidelines

Collaborate cross-functionally with senior editors and other verticals as needed

Required

Relevant experience in senior editing roles (managing editor, deputy editor, editor-in-chief) of a digital publication specializing in film, television and/or related content

Proven experience editing and managing writers in a fast-paced digital environment

Strong understanding of SEO, analytics and performance-driven content

Ability to balance editorial quality with traffic and production goals

Experience working with a high-volume publishing schedule
