INVENTORY ANALYST (FULL TIME w/BENEFITS)

Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM) is seeking an Inventory Analyst to optimize room availability and manage inventory strategies across booking channels. This role involves analyzing occupancy trends and collaborating with various teams to provide data-driven insights for strategic decision-making.

Information Technology

Responsibilities

Monitors daily weekly and monthly occupancy and revenue trends across multiple NHG properties
Assists with the analysis of historical data booking patterns and market conditions to help forecast demand
Supports the implementation of room allocation and oversell strategies to optimize inventory and availability
Tracks minimum length of stay MLOS group reservations and high-demand periods across NHG properties
Monitors local events seasonal trends and economic factors that may impact occupancy
Prepares and presents analytical reports and inventory insights to support operational decisions
Collaborates with the Inventory Manager and hotel operations teams to maintain up-to-date availability and system accuracy
Provides input and support for group bookings and seasonal offerings
Coordinates with IT and system teams to resolve data or inventory-related issues
Maintains working knowledge of HMS CRS PMS and other reservation inventory systems
Assists with ensuring compliance with Personally Identifiable Information PII Payment Card Industry PCI and other NHG policies
Responds to inventory and reservation inquiries from internal teams in a timely and professional manner
Supports ongoing training for DoD RC associates and others as needed regarding availability processes and system updates
Works scheduled time in the call queue and assists during peak or emergency periods
Stays current on HUB updates policy changes and NHG directives related to inventory and guest service
Supports leadership in identifying areas for improvement in inventory management and guest experience
Performs additional duties as assigned in support of NHG Operations
