Responsibilities
Checks on and inspects for safety athletic programs, facilities, and equipment
Completes facility maintenance checklist
Completes attendance and non-employee accident reports
Enforces facility rules and regulations
Umpires games and keeps score; maintains adequate records
Makes sure half field lights are on/off as needed
Drags lines and rakes fields
Checks facility use permits
Replaces nets, bases, and plates
Performs related tasks as required
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent OR Two (2) years of related work experience in lieu of a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Possession of a valid State of Florida Class 'E' driver's license
Knowledge of team sports and related rules
Knowledge of youth and/or adult sports association
Skilled in computer familiarity
Skilled in customer service
Skilled in public speaking
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with community officials, employees, volunteer groups, and the general public
Preferred
Previous experience with recreation registration software
Previous experience as a participant or otherwise, with youth and/or adult sports associations
