Responsibilities
Responsible for the safe handling, management, and proper disposal of hazardous and radioactive waste
Identification, sorting, packaging, and tracking of waste materials in accordance with regulatory guidelines
Maintaining compliance with safety protocols, conducting inspections, and collaborating with various departments to implement waste management best practices
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of hazardous and radioactive waste handling, labeling, and storage
Ability to follow safety regulations and maintain compliance with environmental laws and standards
Proficiency in inspections, reporting, and documentation processes
Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and organizational abilities
Excellent communication skills for collaboration with team members and other departments
High school diploma or equivalent; certifications in waste management or hazardous material handling are an asset
Ability to work independently and demonstrate attention to detail
Preferred
Experience in hazardous materials management or a related field
