First Home Mortgage is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented entry-level Mortgage Loan Processor to join our dynamic and growing corporate team. This full-time, in-office position offers an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate interested in launching a career in the mortgage or financial services industry.

Responsibilities

Review loan applications and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness

Communicate with borrowers to request additional documentation as needed

Ensure company minimum standards are met within required timelines, including documentation, fees, and application accuracy

Order and review appraisals and support timely delivery of required disclosures and documents

Analyze borrower income and financial documents and perform income calculations in accordance with loan guidelines

Update loan files in Encompass and submit loans to the automated underwriting system (AUS)

Track outstanding conditions and documentation to help move loans efficiently through the approval process

Maintain organized, compliant loan files in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements

Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Bachelor's degree or recent college graduate preferred

Willingness to learn mortgage systems, processes, and regulations (training provided)
