Responsibilities
Interpret blueprints and tool drawings/designs and implement engineering changes on molds and tools
Troubleshoot, solve and perform mold and tooling repairs and retrofit work
Repair hot runners systems, valve operated gating systems, water leaks, damages, etc
Perform mold repair and troubleshooting activities in the press during production runs
Perform regular mold preventive maintenance activities
Understanding of insert and version changes on molds
Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed)
Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain any and all CI, 5S and STW activities
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
2-5 years of relevant work experience
Strong mechanical aptitude
Interpret blueprints and tool drawings/designs and implement engineering changes on molds and tools
Troubleshoot, solve and perform mold and tooling repairs and retrofit work
Repair hot runners systems, valve operated gating systems, water leaks, damages, etc
Perform mold repair and troubleshooting activities in the press during production runs
