Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities
Define, design, develop, monitor, and refine an asset's maintenance plan
Provide technical support to the site for mechanical equipment and fixed assets
Work with engineering and operations teams to perform the evaluation of assets
Develop risk management plans that will anticipate reliability-related and non-reliability-related risks that could adversely impact plant operations
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and restore routine technical service and equipment problems
Identify faults and symptoms using established processes and procedures
Ensure all established policies and procedures are maintained. Maintain documentation of routine maintenance schedules, system configurations, applications, and technical reference materials
Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions
Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function
Solve complex problems by taking a new perspective on existing solutions
Exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams
Work within broad guidelines and policies
Explain difficult or sensitive information and work to build consensus and convinces to reach agreement
Qualification
Required
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered
Minimum of four (4) years experience as a Reliability Engineer or job-related experience
Technical and/or Program Management experience
Asset reliability and life cycle experience
Product Data Management (PDM) system experience
Systems, Applications and Products (Data processing)
Failure Mode and Effects & Root Cause Analysis (FMEA)
Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more
Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems
Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents
Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
