Business Analyst
MedRisk is seeking a Business Analyst who is responsible for systematically investigating, analyzing, and documenting business functions and processes to identify opportunities for improvement. This role involves defining clear requirements for technology solutions and collaborating closely with the Scrum Master within agile project teams.

Responsibilities
Facilitate meetings with internal users to elicit and clarify business requirements, translating them into clear, actionable technical specifications
Prepare and distribute comprehensive meeting notes and requirements documentation, including functional specifications, interfaces, reports, forms, and workflows, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned
Serve as a liaison between business users, developers, and QA analysts, ensuring requirements are accurately understood and implemented within the scrum team
Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders, providing updates and clarifications as needed
Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and functionality reviews to verify that business requirements are fully met
Identify, communicate, and help resolve issues throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Apply knowledge of Agile and traditional project management principles to support project delivery
Escalate issues to management promptly to avoid project delays
Adhere to MedRisk’s standard practices and policies to maintain the integrity and quality of deliverables
Maintain up-to-date job knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and participating in professional organizations and networks
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a project management role
Proficiency with project tracking and documentation tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio)
Strong oral and written communication skills
Advanced analytical and time management skills
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Preferred
Experience working in Agile environments or on Scrum teams
Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA, Certified Scrum Master)
Experience with data analysis or visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL)
Demonstrated ability to motivate and collaborate with cross-functional teams
Strong interpersonal skills, including stakeholder management and conflict resolution
