Responsibilities
Direct management of the site’s HVAC systems and chiller plant operations
Supervise a team of 8 full-time employees (FTEs), including refrigeration engineers and mechanics, providing 24/7 coverage
Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and preventive maintenance schedules
Monitor system performance and implement improvements to optimize energy efficiency and reliability
Coordinate emergency response and troubleshooting for HVAC-related issues
Manage vendor relationships and oversee contracts for maintenance and repairs
Prepare and manage budgets for operations and capital projects related to HVAC infrastructure
Qualification
Required
Refrigeration Engineer License required
Minimum 7–10 years of experience in HVAC operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
Strong knowledge of chiller plant systems and large-scale HVAC infrastructure
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment with 24/7 operational demands
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
