Asset Management
Responsibilities
Define and communicate the product roadmap for authentication experiences (e.g., registration, login flows, passwordless options, SSO, MFA)
Work closely with engineering, security, compliance, and UX teams to align product goals with business needs
Collect and prioritize requirements from internal and external stakeholders, focusing on usability, security, and scalability
Create and manage the product backlog, write user stories, and prioritize features for development
Oversee the design and implementation of authentication protocols (OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, etc.), user provisioning, and account recovery processes
Ensure features adhere to security best practices and compliance standards (GDPR, SOC2, etc.)
Advocate for frictionless, user-friendly authentication flows while maintaining robust security
Analyze product metrics, usage data, and user feedback to continuously improve authentication experiences
Qualification
Required
Solid understanding of authentication technologies, protocols, and security principles
Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in tech, ideally with identity or authentication products
Experience working in agile environments and managing sprints
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
Preferred
Experience with cloud authentication solutions (e.g., Azure AD, Okta, Auth0)
Familiarity with regulatory standards (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA)
Experience with CIAM (Customer Identity and Access Management) platforms
Familiarity with regional identity providers, to scale solution beyond domestic
Background in cybersecurity or risk management
