Growth + Product Marketing Lead

Stoffel Labs Inc is building a privacy runtime framework for Multi-Party Computation (MPC) and is seeking their first marketing hire to transform their technical edge into a growth engine. The role involves creating positioning and messaging, running growth experiments, conducting customer discovery, and defining metrics for success.

Responsibilities

Turn Stoffel’s story into crisp, testable narratives (home page, docs entry points, pitch, “why now”, competitive framing vs ZK/FHE/TEEs)
Create “explain it without dumbing it down” copy that respects developers and shows the work
Run weekly experiments across landing pages, onboarding flows, lead magnets, community loops, and lightweight product hooks
Build an SEO + “AI search” content engine: tutorial clusters, use-case pages, comparison pages, and case studies
Own the editorial calendar and distribution across X/LinkedIn/Reddit/HN/communities
Interview developers and technical buyers; synthesize pains, triggers, and real language
Maintain persona/segment insights and translate them into campaign angles and onboarding paths
Package releases into simple launch narratives: what shipped, why it matters, how to try it
Support partner announcements and co-marketing (including our honey-badger tone when appropriate)
Define and track the funnel: visits → activates → retains → converts
Build dashboards for acquisition channels, content performance, and activation cohorts

Required

Have 3–5+ years in growth / product marketing / dev tools marketing / technical content (outcomes > titles)
Can write extremely well: clear, specific, developer-respecting, no fluff
Love tight feedback loops: hypothesis → ship → measure → iterate
Can learn technical concepts (MPC, TEEs, FHE) enough to communicate accurately; without being a cryptographer
DevRel/community experience (Discord/Slack, OSS communities, events)
Can reliably work in Eastern Time and respond quickly during core hours

Preferred

Development skills in Rust, Python, JS/TS with command line skills
Knowledge of git
Strong SEO chops for technical topics (clusters, internal linking, intent mapping)
Early-stage startup experience (you've built from zero, not just optimized)
Comfort designing simple visuals (Figma/Canva) and shipping lightweight web updates
