Avionic Technician

They are seeking a highly skilled Production Flightline Avionics Technician to support flightline operations, avionics integration, and final aircraft readiness for F-16 platforms, ensuring mission-ready aircraft and supporting day-to-day operations in a high-reliability aerospace environment.

Responsibilities
Perform installation, routing, and securing of electrical harnesses, wires, and avionics components on F-16 aircraft
Conduct continuity testing, functional system checks, and termination/soldering operations
Support flightline operations, including launch, recovery, and final operational readiness tasks
Troubleshoot, repair, and verify electrical and avionics systems to meet flight requirements
Perform operational testing and inspections in accordance with technical manuals, engineering instructions, and safety procedures
Occasionally assist with general mechanic installs, structural tasks, and aircraft system inspections based on team needs
Work independently and collaboratively with other technicians, quality assurance, and engineering
Maintain adherence to all safety standards and maintain a clean, organized workspace
Support shift flexibility—ability to work either 1st or 2nd shift after training
Qualification
Required
Prior experience working with aircraft electrical and avionics systems
Ability to install, terminate, and test aircraft wiring and harness assemblies
Experience performing system checks, diagnostics, and troubleshooting
Ability to read and interpret aircraft technical data, schematics, and work instructions
Must hold an Active Secret Clearance or have clearance actively in process before start
Ability to work 1st or 2nd shift after initial training
Preferred
Aircraft Flightline experience (strongly preferred)
Experience working on F?16, or other fighter aircraft platforms
Skilled in soldering, cable termination, routing, strain relief, and avionics testing
Strong understanding of military aircraft maintenance, inspections, and flightline procedures
Ability to support additional general mechanical tasks when required
Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
