They are seeking a skilled volunteer to explore and model a potential new revenue stream that aligns with their mission, including developing a fee-for-service model and assessing financial viability for new ventures.

Responsibilities

Explore and model a potential new revenue stream that aligns with our mission
Develop a fee-for-service model, launch a social enterprise, client-run enterprise, or monetize an existing program or service
Assess financial viability of new options and forecast potential revenue over the next 1-3 years
Develop a planning brief that details the ideal consumer base, initial investment and/or start-up costs, running costs for administering the new venture, pricing options, and estimate of the break-even point
Brainstorm and present options based on similar models used by peer organizations
Come up with a more in-depth evaluation and potential plan for implementation

Required

Skilled in exploring and modeling potential new revenue streams
Experience in developing fee-for-service models
Ability to launch social enterprises or client-run enterprises
Experience in monetizing existing programs or services

Experience in forecasting potential revenue over 1-3 years
Ability to develop planning briefs detailing consumer base, investment costs, running costs, pricing options, and break-even estimates
Experience in brainstorming and presenting options based on similar models used by peer organizations
Ability to conduct in-depth evaluations and develop potential plans for implementation
Access to relevant program data and current funding sources
Ability to provide context and feedback throughout the process
