Responsibilities

Assist with the coordination and implementation of all new employee learning and development programs
Assist with the development, scheduling, presentation, and updating of technical seminars by utilizing the most up-to-date information to meet the needs of all employees
Maintain proficient knowledge to administer all new hire learning and development programs
Assist with the development and updating of all educational materials
Maintain continual awareness of new services, products, and changes regarding daily processes that may affect employee development
Identify and recommend process improvements that will support the Credit Union’s strategic objectives
Maintain knowledge of Credit Union departments’ functions and operations
Perform other duties, in addition to normal responsibilities, to help the overall workflow of the Learning and Development department, as well as other departments, assigned by the team leader or direct report
Provide feedback to new hires regarding their competencies and skills during training
Provide feedback to all new hires regarding Jovia’s professional standards and ensure all employees follow policies and procedures
Document and record all employee learning performance to enable accurate representation of employee performance while in a training environment
Lead each new hire class with integrity, energy, and professionalism to set the standard for each new hire employee to model

Required

PC skills should include Excel, Word, Windows, and Internet
Corporate appearance and attitude, computer literate, ability to motivate, and work with minimum supervision
Must be flexible with work schedule to accomplish projects. The position's scheduled hours are subject to change based on our member and organizational needs
Internet speed of 100 mbps or higher required (you can test this by going to www.speedtest.net)
Able to dedicate a quiet space for daily work that is free of sound interruptions
All equipment will be provided by Jovia (Computer, Monitor, Headset)

Preferred

College degree or 1 to 2 years' experience in financial operations/Savings Department or 1 to 2 years of training experience in banking/financial industry
