Responsibilities

Dive into quality control (QC) for multiple utilities

Handle QC design for both pre- and post-construction phases

Apply technical expertise to ensure projects meet specifications

Lead small to medium or multi-discipline projects

Guide Design Engineers and prepare detailed technical analyses

Share insights with the team and engage with stakeholders

Communicate challenges related to scope, cost, schedule, and quality

Interact independently with clients

Estimate proposals

Understand the role of business development in operations

Assist the Design Coordinator

Evaluate design personnel and assign tasks to Designers and Drafters

Review vendor drawings

Perform independent engineering reviews of simpler projects

Provide feedback

Offer input on potential process and design improvements

Ensure adherence to the quality control process

Self-check work before submission

Complete tasks with minimal errors

Participate in peer and QC reviews

Required

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required. (Civil & Structural Engineering acceptable)

Experience with electric distribution, overhead/underground, substation, multi-family, large/small commercial
