Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica IDMC and Informatica on-prem solutions
Translate business, reporting, and analytics requirements into system and data integration specifications
Support both batch and real-time data integration across relational databases, cloud platforms, and mainframe flat files
Perform data modeling to support cloud data warehousing and analytics use cases
Optimize performance, reliability, and data quality through modular pipeline design, orchestration, and governance controls
Convert legacy mainframe code and data processes (JCL, COOLGEN, COBOL, FOCUS, WebFOCUS) into modern IDMC-based workflows
Analyze existing legacy logic, reports, and data flows to identify transformation and integration requirements
Implement equivalent functionality using cloud-native data integration best practices
Produce clear technical designs, diagrams, metadata, and documentation to support data integration and warehouse solutions
Ensure data warehouse metadata is captured, maintained, and governed
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, business analysts, and technical teams to validate data accuracy and usability
Support structured testing, data validation, and quality assurance activities
Coach and mentor team members on data warehousing concepts, integration tools, and best practices
Contribute to the development and maintenance of methods, standards, and practices documentation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
7+ years of experience in data integration, data warehousing, and business intelligence environments
4+ years of hands-on experience designing and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) and Informatica on-prem platforms
Strong expertise in data warehouse and data mart concepts
Proven ability to model transactional data for analytical and reporting use cases
Experience working with Snowflake cloud data warehouse
Advanced proficiency with Informatica PowerCenter / Cloud Platform
Experience using Informatica Data Quality and Informatica Data Catalog
Working knowledge of reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms
Strong experience with relational databases including DB2, SQL Server, and Oracle
Experience integrating and modernizing mainframe-based data systems
Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to clearly communicate technical and non-technical information verbally and in writing across diverse audiences
Proven ability to work effectively with business users, stakeholders, and external partners
Demonstrated ability to make sound, well-informed, and objective decisions
Comfortable working in evolving environments with changing priorities and technologies
Professional, respectful, and collaborative approach to teamwork
