Responsibilities

Conducting data analysis related to transportation and mobile source emissions

Responsible for regulatory development as part of the Statewide Clean Aviation Initiative (SCAI)

Modeling mobile source emissions and activities

Conducting scenario analysis to identify technologically feasible and cost-effective mobile source strategies for meeting California's clean air goals

Directing managers and staff to develop emission reduction programs for the aviation sector

Organizing, planning, directing, and supervising activities involving engineering and data analyses of emissions from the State’s on- and off-road mobiles sources

Designing, maintaining, and periodically revising the State’s mobile source emissions inventory models to assess emission changes from new and existing control measures
