Responsibilities
Operate rack and saw in safe and efficient manner
Responsible for keeping production areas and other defined areas clean and organized
Must be able to push, pull, and lift to 50lbs repetitively
Ability to use and read a tape measure and caliper
Able to work 10-hour workdays from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday and overtime as needed
Must follow all plant safety rules by always wearing proper PPE
Attend Line Board Meetings
Expected to solve problems under pressure and reduce downtime
Ensure all products meet the customer and product requirements
Ensure packaging of finished goods per customer specification
Accurately fill out production reports daily
Read engineering sheets, and make suggestions for improvement
Perform regular maintenance and preventative maintenance using safe practices and procedures including Lock-Out/Tag-Out
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 1-2 years of relevant experience
Follow directions and work well in a team
Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machineries
Solid understanding of the production equipment
Must have analytical skills to solve problems
Customer focused, positive attitude
Attention to detail and numbers oriented to ensure quality
Well organized and exercise sound judgement in decision making
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to communicate to cross functional team effectively, both verbally and in writing
