CAD Technician

Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and drafting standards to ensure compliance
Effective collaboration with engineers, architects, and project managers to streamline design processes
Ensures all electronic design information and files are properly saved and organized providing the organization a record for future reference and coordination
Ensures all As-built information is kept up to date and properly filed for future reference and coordination
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or Equivalent
10 years of experience in technical drafting, construction planning, or architectural design
Proficiency in AutoCAD & CAD Software
Expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, Building Information Modeling (BIM), or other drafting tools to create precise, detailed, and fully coordinated electronic plans
Ability to coordinate with teams, manage deadlines, and ensure project efficiency
Strong understanding of structural, mechanical, and civil engineering principles to ensure accurate drafting
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical specifications, and engineering drawings with precision
Keen eye for accuracy, ensuring all measurements and details align with project requirements
Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and drafting standards to ensure compliance
