Responsibilities
Provide Automation & System Integration engineering services in the manufacturing & power generation industries
Programming devices such as Programmable Logic Controllers
Configuration of network switches
Development of logic diagrams & electrical drawings
Configuration of Human Machine Interfaces (HMI)
Technical reviews of drawings and device settings
Subject to client-mandated drug and background checking
Occasional travel/driving is required; therefore, the successful applicant will be subject to ECI's auto insurance carrier requirements
Qualification
Required
BSEE, BSEET or MSEE preferred; BSME, BSMET or other degrees with significant heavy industrial controls and automation background will be considered
4+ years direct experience in industrial automation or process control or combination of education and experience
excellent verbal and written communication skills
strong organization and planning skills
ability to work in a team environment
commitment to quality and accuracy
willingness to meet fast-paced project schedules
Applicants must not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B visa status) now or in the future
Preferred
Experience with Rockwell, GE & Emerson PLC's and HMI preferred
P.E. preferred
A remote/hybrid work option would be considered for applicants that have extensive experience in industrial automation or process control
