Responsibilities

Move parts into position into the Small Parts RTM workstation

Prep parts in accordance with Cobalt standards

Select appropriate fiberglass kit according to part model. Lay out laminate eliminating air voids using specific hand tools, etc

Trim excess material from mold using cutting tool

Seal mold using vacuum system

Mix catalyst into resin using the injection pump

Other duties may be assigned

Perform in accordance with Cobalt’s safety policies and procedures

Required

High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions

General math skills required

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions

Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations

Must be able to stand for long periods of time

Must be able to push and pull small parts molds

Lift up to 30 pounds

Safety glasses always required

Cut resistant gloves required when handling chemicals
