Operations Coordinator Project Search
Children's Hospital Colorado is dedicated to providing quality care and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Project SEARCH Operations Coordinator is responsible for delivering employment skills training and supporting interns in the Project SEARCH program, collaborating with various stakeholders to help participants gain work skills and competitive employment.

Responsibilities
Provides direct skills training/job coaching to Project SEARCH participants during the program year and for the immediate months following graduation
Develops skill building employment plans for work success for each individual participant, including the creation and maintenance of job aids and connections to support resources and other tools
Identify appropriate career exploration activities like internships and working interviews
Maintains accurate documentation, data collection, reporting and participant progress toward skill development and employment readiness
Submits accurate billing and supporting documentation to the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) for participants
Supports successful onboarding of students to CHCO and enrollment in community based programs including DVR and other partner agencies
Oversee job development and employment placement efforts for interns after transitioning from the program
Provides job-training and support until individual is stable and transitioned to long term job coach
Supports program participant recruiting and selection activities based at CHCO
Communicates effectively with families about progress and plans for future employment
Participates in program partner meetings, IEP meetings, recruitment events, statewide Project SEARCH meetings, family education sessions as appropriate
Partners with team to discover and develop new internship and job opportunities for participants inside CHCO and in the community
Develops relationships within community for employment placement options
Tracks employment placement outcomes and retention for program participants
Communicates and works as a team with Project SEARCH staff and partner programs
Qualification
Required
High School Graduate, Bachelor's Degree, preferred
Two years' experience working in a professional environment providing direct skills training to students or clients from the developmental /intellectual disabilities community
An Associate or higher degree, in a related field, may substitute for the experience requirements on a year for year basis
