The Boeing Company is seeking an Experienced or Senior Project Manager to support the 777X Airplane Safety Engineering team on site in Everett, WA. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and tracking safety engineering work across the airplane development lifecycle, ensuring disciplined execution and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and track 777X safety engineering to meet certification and regulatory requirements

Manage schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, and cross-workstream commitments

Ensure execution discipline and milestone readiness; proactively identify and mitigate certification risks

Enable Agile/Kanban/hybrid delivery in a regulated environment; lead planning, backlog management, execution tracking, and continuous improvement

Design, configure, and sustain Jira/Azure DevOps workflows, hierarchies, dashboards, and reporting

Lead through influence across engineering, program, and certification teams

Build trusted partnerships with managers, technical leads, and systems safety engineers

Required

Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Level 3: 6+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Level 4: 10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Working knowledge of Agile delivery methods (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid models)

Hands-on experience using Jira and/or Azure DevOps for workflow and execution management

Strong communication, organizational, and risk-management skills

Preferred

Experience supporting airplane safety, certification, systems engineering, or regulatory compliance activities

4+ years of experience in project or program management within an engineering or technical environment

Experience supporting complex development programs with cross-functional stakeholders

Proven ability to stand up or improve execution workflows and delivery visibility

Experience creating dashboards and metrics for senior leadership

Familiarity with airplane development lifecycle and certification processes

Demonstrated ability to lead through influence rather than authority

PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, Scrum Master, or equivalent experience
