Galls, LLC is the largest and fastest growing supplier of uniforms and equipment to public safety professionals with a national presence. They are seeking a Warehouse Team Lead to oversee warehouse operations, manage day-to-day activities, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Public Safety

Responsibilities

Provide direction and guidance to team members to assure daily productivity and quality standards are achieved

Establish work procedures that support Galls, LLC and departmental standards. Conduct continual evaluation of processes and procedures and execute new methods to improve area operations and efficiency

Assist in personnel decision to include training and evaluating performance of associates

Address disciplinary and/or performance problems according to company policy

Assure necessary manpower is scheduled appropriately to achieve all operational goals

Assure associates are properly trained and coached to efficiently and effectively perform in cross functional areas of the operation and that they have the appropriate tools and resources to perform task assigned

Provide efficient and productive communication within the warehouse as well as with other departments within Galls

Provide performance feedback on a regular basis to each team member to maximize performance

Troubleshot issues as they arise and implement efficient and effective resolution

Maintain necessary spreadsheets to track business metrics

Required

Experience in warehouse operations management

Ability to oversee day-to-day operations of a distribution center

Knowledge of forecasting and strategy execution

Understanding of staffing and scheduling for operational goals

Experience in training and evaluating performance of associates

Ability to address disciplinary and performance problems according to company policy

Strong communication skills within the warehouse and with other departments

Ability to provide performance feedback to team members

Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues and implement resolutions

Proficiency in maintaining spreadsheets to track business metrics

Knowledge of OSHA and other regulations related to warehouse operations
