Mines and analyzes complex and unstructured data sets using advanced statistical, machine learning and artificial intelligence methods for use in data driven decision making

Performs research, analysis, and modeling on organizational data

Develops and applies algorithms or models to key business metrics with the goal of improving operations or answering business questions

Provides findings and analysis for use in decision making

Performs work with a high degree of latitude

Handles the most complex issues

Possesses expert knowledge of subject matter

Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to subordinate group

Required

BA/BS degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience

7+ years of progressively complex related experience in the tools and practice of data science, including statistical modeling, machine learning and artificial intelligence

Expertise in programming languages such as Python, with good familiarity in big data frameworks and platforms such as PySpark, Apache Spark, Databricks and Snowflake

Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

Excellent communication and leadership abilities

Collaborative spirit and proven ability to work effectively within a team

Expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning
