$20/hr - $28/hrNGL Energy Partners LP is seeking an Engineering Intern to support Engineering and Operations in their Water Solutions business unit. The role involves analyzing systems, troubleshooting issues, and providing engineering support to improve operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
Identify and document system equipment failures to perform root cause/failure analyses
Analyze and report on system efficiency gains and losses, the effects of system interventions and modifications, and identify future optimization opportunities for reducing costs and enhancing system throughput
Assist with troubleshooting system power-related issues, identifying problem areas and providing technical solutions to reduce costs and improve system reliability. Evaluate and inventory NGL’s current electrical infrastructure
Use technical expertise and creativity to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex problems that increase value delivered to NGL Energy operations and customers
Provide engineering and technical support to Operations Staff, ensuring applications and integrated systems work as expected
Qualification
Required
Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) with ability to present complex technical information to non-technical audiences
Strong analytical skills, problem-solving, and business acumen
Skills in analysis and project management
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to be a positive representative of the Company both internally and externally
Ability to always work with respect and cooperation with fellow employees and customers
Must be committed to always working safely
High school graduate or equivalent at a minimum
Currently pursuing a college degree in mechanical/chemical/petroleum/electrical or computer engineering
Requires a valid driver's license
Preferred
Exposure to the Oil and Gas industry preferred
