Desktop Support Technician
Randstad Digital Americas is seeking a motivated Desktop Support Technician to join their growing team in Houston. The role involves being the primary point of contact for technological needs, ensuring seamless hardware, software, and network infrastructure to support daily operations and long-term growth.

Responsibilities
End-User Support: Act as the primary lead for all IT Help Desk communications, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues promptly
Infrastructure Maintenance: Perform network troubleshooting and maintain connectivity to ensure zero downtime for facility operations
Cloud Administration: Manage and optimize M365 environments and user permissions
Lifecycle Management: Oversee updates for internal software and applications, ensuring all systems are secure and current
Training & Documentation: Develop user-friendly training materials for employees to ease the transition to new hardware or software
Collaborative Projects: Work closely with the broader IT department to execute large-scale technological initiatives and company goals
Qualification
Required
B.S. in Computer Science, a STEM-related field, or equivalent hands-on professional experience
Proven experience managing devices via Remote Desktop Sessions (RDS)
Strong proficiency in Windows administration and the M365 suite
Practical experience setting up and troubleshooting basic LAN networks
Demonstrated ability to manage tasks effectively without constant direct supervision
