Responsibilities

Oversee financial reporting for multiple construction projects. Ensure costs are tracked, funds are allocated appropriately, and the construction budget is adhered to
Manage loan servicing related to construction financing, including monitoring loan disbursements, compliance, and reporting
Provide financial reporting for multi-unit properties, ensuring accurate tracking of expenses, revenues, and project progress
Help allocate funds across various projects, ensuring that financing is available for ongoing construction and investment initiatives
Prepare and distribute financial reports across all entities under the company’s umbrella, ensuring that stakeholders have accurate, timely information
Work with construction, project management, and finance teams to align on financial strategy and reporting
Ensure that all financial activities comply with regulatory standards and company policies. Help manage risk by ensuring sound financial controls are in place

Required

5+ years of experience in a Controller or similar financial leadership role with a focus on construction projects and loan servicing
Strong construction industry background: Experience managing and reporting financials for construction projects is essential
Experience with loan banking servicing and overseeing disbursements, repayments, and compliance
Knowledge of multi-unit property investments and the ability to prepare financial reports on them
Proven experience allocating funds across multiple projects and entities, with an understanding of how to maximize resources
Expertise in financial reporting and creating financial statements for multiple entities
Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Preferred

CPA, CMA, or other relevant certifications preferred but not required
Experience working with construction management software or ERP systems
Background in investment management related to real estate or construction projects
