Montana State University is seeking experienced management and entrepreneurship professionals to join the Jake Jabs College of Business & Entrepreneurship as Instructors. The role involves delivering high-quality instruction at both undergraduate and graduate levels, merging course concepts with real-world applications and collaborating with faculty to enhance student learning.

Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate and/or graduate management or entrepreneurship courses in in-person and/or online formats, ensuring high-quality, engaging instruction
Merge course concepts/theories with real-world applications and experiential learning to enhance student understanding of management or entrepreneurship principles and practices
Collaborate and coordinate as appropriate with fellow Jabs College faculty on curricula and teaching methods
Deliver course content that is aligned with the Option’s and College’s broader curricular goals
Stay current with industry trends, professional standards, and advancements in management or entrepreneurship education to maintain course relevance
Act collegially, abide by University and College policies for faculty and student responsibilities, and foster a welcoming and supportive learning environment
Attend/facilitate class at the listed times, with rare exceptions

Qualification

Required

Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, Human Resources, Entrepreneurship, Social Entrepreneurship, or other relevant field

Preferred

Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in business management or entrepreneurship
Strong knowledge of current industry trends and practices in areas such as human resources, business communications, leadership, negotiation, sustainable business, nonprofit management, and entrepreneurship
A terminal degree in Management (Ph.D. or DBA) in Management or a closely related field
